Flood Relief Work

Rebuilding Lives with Compassion

The floods in Marathwada have caused extensive devastation. In addition to widespread crop loss, nearly 15 million hectares of land have been affected, leaving farmers in a critical situation.

Ration kits containing 22 essential items, including grains, oil, spices, and other daily necessities, are being distributed to support affected communities. Despite the approach of Diwali, many households continue to face severe hardship.

As I, Shri and Mrs. Ramdev Agarwal, and Shri and Mrs. Jivrajka go from village to village, the pain in their eyes pierces our hearts.

Efforts are currently reaching 4,750 families — approximately 24,000 people across 30 villages. While this provides immediate relief, the scale of the disaster underscores the need for continued support and coordinated assistance.

These initiatives aim to provide essential aid and help communities rebuild their lives in the aftermath of this natural calamity.

The Truth of Soyabean Farming

A farmer in Maharashtra, relying entirely on soybean cultivation for your livelihood. The calculations for soybean farming suggest extremely tight margins — if these numbers are correct, it begs the question: how do 7.5 lakh farmers survive under such conditions?

Each season brings uncertainty — unpredictable rains, fluctuating market prices, and rising input costs. For these farmers, every decision can mean the difference between a decent harvest and severe hardship. Understanding the realities behind these figures is crucial to appreciating the struggles and resilience of Maharashtra’s soybean farming community.
